NE Corner of the Square (built 1955)

An excellent example of Streamline Moderne design, it replaced the old bank building in 1955.  See construction photos in the bank lobby.

The red lettering on the south side exterior is original, as is the clock, and the blond woodwork interior.

Another example of Streamline Moderne is the Fairfield High School at 605-607 East Broadway, although it is subdued.
